- With the number of flu cases on the rise, we have reversed our policy on the returning of soiled test booklets. If a child in your class throws up on a test booklet, please record the serial number and dispose of the booklet appropriately. Please note the serial number of the destroyed book on the teacher header sheet and contact CIA at tpro@indiana.edu with the information.
- The testing window for Kentucky's Read to Achieve Schools will run from October 12-November 5. Test materials will arrive in schools the week of October 6th. Please look for the Administrator's Box marked with the orange sticker and open it first.
- Beginning this year, the fluency section of T-PRO will be separate from the rest of the assessment. Teachers will download and print these materials for progress monitoring, but will not return them to CIA for scoring. RTA staff are responsible for making sure that these materials are used in compliance with the RTA grant. Please see the T-PRO FAQ for more information about this change in test administration.
CORRECTIONS
- There is an error in Sample Item H on page 27 of the Grade 3 Diagnostic Teacher’s Manual. The text refers to “H” as the first letter of the index page rather than “A.” One replacement page (printed on purple paper) will be provided in the Administrator’s Box of your fall shipment for each teacher manual. You can also download the replacement page here. Alternately, you can alter your existing page 27 by replacing all occurrences of the bolded letter “H” with “A” before administering the assessment. CIA sincerely apologizes for the error.
- There is an error in Sample Item E on page 20 of the Grade 3 Diagnostic Teacher’s Manual. The text refers to the first word, caring, with the suffix ing as the correct answer. In the student booklet, it is the actually the second option, quietly, with the suffix ly, that is correct. You can download the replacement page here. Alternately, you can alter your existing page 167 by replacing all occurrences of caring with quietly and all occurrences of “ing” with “ly” before administering the assessment. CIA sincerely apologizes for the error.
- In question #57 of the Kindergarten assessment (p. 26), the point of the arrow is missing in the third answer choice. Please answer any student questions that may arise from this printing error. Contact us at tpro@indiana.edu if you have any questions.
