What's New?

  • We will be upgrading our servers on Friday November 13th. All systems will be down from 7:00 PM Friday to 7:30 AM Sunday. You will not be able to access the IRDA-Online site during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.
  • Indiana University's School of Education will be offering an online course for graduate level credit on the effective use of reading assessments in the classroom. There will be training in using the Indiana Reading Diagnostic Assessments (K-2) or the Informational Text Reading Inventory to shape a Standards-based instructional program. Click here for more information.
  • The Indiana Department of Education is shifting to an electronic delivery of the Indiana Reading Diagnostic Assessment. IRDA will now be available online and through PDF files for printing your own paper materials. Schools will need to be signed up through IRDA-Online to access the assessment and print paper materials. Each teacher will need a username and password for IRDA-Online. Contact irda@indiana.edu if you need any usernames and passwords.
  • Download PDF versions of student and teacher materials on the Testing and Scoring tab.
  • The testing window for IRDA-Online Administration 1 is August 24 - December 15, 2009.
  • Story Comprehension is no longer a part of IRDA for Kindergarten and First Grade. With the shift to electronic delivery, copyright permissions for stories are cost prohibitive. The Boat and Fun for One stories are still available for additional comprehension activities through I-LRN on the CIA Website. All reports and materials will reflect this change.
